Before start your preparation know about weightage of question in each subjects & also know about the detail syllabus of the exam. Here we are providing Syllabus and approaching strategy of each section.

Hindi Language

This subject is common in both Paper 1 and Paper 2. You have to solve 30 multiple choice questions. In Hindi section, there will be one Reading Comprehension, language pedagogy and grammar. The best reference to prepare Hindi section is to read NCERT from Class 1st to 10th.
Distribution of questions
(i) Reading comprehension(पैराग्राफ ) :—-> 5 to 8 questions
(ii) Basic grammar(ब्याकरण ) :—-> 10 to 15 questions
(iii) Pedagogy questions(अध्यापन प्रश्न) :—-> 5 to 8 questions
Mathematics:- This is very important and scoring subject of TET exam.
Distribution of questions
(A) Mathematics Incudes many topics:- (20 to 24) question
  • Fundamental of Mathematics operation
  • Numbers System
  • LCM & HCF
  • Addition and Subtraction
  • Multiplication
  • Average
  • Profit & Loss
  • Time, Distance & Work
  • Ratio & Proportion
  • Simple & Compound Interest
  • Mensuration

  • Child Development & Pedagogy (CD&P):-
This subject is common in both Paper 1 and Paper 2. You have to solve 30 multiple choice questions. This subject intends to check the knowledge of child psychology of a candidate. You should revise the important topic development stages of the child, special needs of a child and the most important is to revise the thinker and thoughts. Every year, generally 5-8 questions asked from thinkers and thoughts.
Distribution of questions
(i) Child Development (Primary School Child) : —-> 15 Questions
(ii) Concept of Inclusive education: —> 5 Questions
(iii) Learning and Pedagogy: —-> 10 Questions
English Language
This subject is common in both Paper 1 and Paper 2. You have to solve 30 multiple choice questions. In this section, 15 questions will be from one Reading Comprehension and one Poem passage. Other questions are asked from English language and grammar. The best reference to prepare English section is to read NCERT from Class 1st to 10th. Make your vocabulary strong; learn 10 new English words daily.
Distribution of questions
(i) Reading comprehension :—-> 5 to 8 questions
(ii) Basic grammar :—-> 10 to 15 questions
(iii) Pedagogy questions :—-> 5 to 8 questions
Environmental Strategy: – This subject is asked in TET) exam only and this is very important because it is very scoring subject.
Distribution of questions
(i) Environment basics :—-> 8 to 10 questions
(ii) Geography :—-> 3 to 6 questions
(iii) Current affairs :—-> 5 to 6 questions
(iv) History:—-> 5 to 6 questions
(v) Miscellaneous :—->6 to 8 questions
(B) Pedagogy of mathematics:- (6 to 8) question
